1. Data We Process

We process personal data of public figures strictly in relation to their public function or representative role: name, position, institution, government level, party affiliation of elected officials, public biographical data, open-license identifiers and media (Wikidata/Wikimedia Commons), and institutional contact.

We do not process special categories of data under Article 9 GDPR (racial or ethnic origin, privately-inferred political opinions, religious beliefs, health, sex life or sexual orientation).

2. Legal Basis

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): political transparency and informational analysis of public figures, analogous to investigative journalism and academic-political analysis.
  • Manifestly public data (Art. 9.2.e GDPR): the party affiliation of an elected official is information the person made public by standing for and being elected under that party in official electoral records.

3. Sources

Official sources (official gazettes, government sites, parliamentary records) and open-license public sources (Wikidata, Wikipedia). AI-generated sources with declared ideological bias are excluded. Every claim carries provenance.

4. International Transfers

Some sub-processors (AI model provider, infrastructure) may be located outside the EEA, including the United States. The data processed is manifestly public data of public figures. Transfers are made under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). EU-only deployment is available by configuration for clients who require it.

5. Your Rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction by writing to data-rights@psiquepol.ai. We handle requests under the GDPR. For public-function data held on legitimate-interest grounds, we assess each request by balancing it against the public interest in transparency.

6. Retention

Public-function data is retained while the figure remains publicly relevant. Terminated positions are marked as historical, not deleted, to preserve the integrity of the historical-institutional record.
