Guadalupe Taddei, presiding councilor of Mexico's National Electoral Institute (INE), announces she will submit her resignation on Monday, October 26, after the INE published and deleted a release with that announcement; a day earlier she had told the other councilors she would not resign. César Jáuregui is formally bound over on treason charges. Mexico's Interior Ministry says most trucking organizations agree to talks ahead of the Canacar strike.
